Create from templates
Eight text-based formats plus valid DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX templates. Import your own templates; create files in the current folder with automatic numbering for name collisions.
Public downloads are not available yet. The official Mac App Store link will appear here when ready.
A context menu utility for Mac. Create files, copy and move items, convert images, and work with ZIP archives in Finder. Configure in the main window; act where your files already are.
Keep repetitive file work in context: create from a template, organize into favorite folders, convert an image, or archive a set of materials. Menus show applicable actions for the selection, with clear access prompts and results.

Choose a favorite or another destination directly. Copy retains originals; moves require confirmation. Copying and moving stop on name conflicts instead of overwriting.
Generate PNG, JPEG, HEIC, WebP, ICNS, macOS iconsets, or iOS appiconsets beside originals. Animated images use the first frame; transparent JPEG output gets a white background.
Archive multiple selected items into one ZIP or extract several ZIPs into separate new folders. Preserve and restore Mac extended attributes, with safety and size checks before writing.
Copy names, paths, and file URLs, inspect information and checksums, create aliases or empty folders named after files, and open items with a chosen app or system Terminal.
Enable actions individually, manage favorite folders and menu scope. Three interface languages apply immediately to app and menus. Use system Services in special locations.
Select items in Finder and choose a context-menu action. Submenus for creating, copying, and moving offer templates or destinations directly. Separate result windows appear when needed, without importing files into the configuration page.
The image shows the real fallback Services action menu with a demonstration file context. When a cloud or file provider hides Finder extensions, find the entry containing SparkleRight in system Services for the same applicable actions.
The templates page brings built-in formats and imported templates together. Create text, Markdown, JSON, and other lightweight files; Office entries use valid DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX templates.
Import a real template to save an app-managed copy for reuse while retaining the original. Back in the destination folder, choose it from the context menu. New files avoid name collisions and are selected in Finder.
Add frequent destinations to favorite folders for Copy To, Move To, and menu bar navigation. Optionally select folders that define where context menus should appear.
Favorite destinations, menu scope, and file-access authorization serve separate purposes. Removing a list entry does not delete its folder or revoke saved access. Manage access separately in app settings.
The context-menu page groups file organization, image tools, archives, attributes, and quick actions. Switch actions on individually and choose whether to collect them in a SparkleRight submenu.
Images, folders, and multiple selections offer different applicable commands. Check the target before changing files. Permanent deletion, owner-write permission changes, and moving folder contents out start disabled.
App settings bring extension setup, saved access, login launch, and menu bar visibility together. When an operation first needs permission, use the system picker to select the folder containing the files.
Local processing does not bypass system access rules. Download cloud files first; read-only drives support reading and copying out. Reauthorize when a reconnected drive, moved folder, or expired grant requires it.
Everyday file actions should not require a tour of several windows. Keep actions beside the files you are working with and settings available when you need them.
Open extension settings from the app and enable SparkleRight. Select the containing folder when access is requested; menu visibility does not grant read or write access.
Select useful actions and prepare favorite templates and folders. Switch among Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English without changing filenames or template contents.
Select items or open a folder’s background menu, confirm moves where requested, and check results. In special locations, use the SparkleRight entry in system Services.
Like SparkleShot, it is preparing for Mac App Store distribution and has no public download yet. The current project is a 1.0.0 development preview. Store links, pricing, and dates depend on the actual release.
macOS 15 or later is required. The current local build includes Apple silicon and Intel architectures. OS versions, file systems, cloud providers, and extensions still need practical compatibility checks; a local build is not App Store approval.
Select files or folders and find the entry containing SparkleRight in system Services. Download cloud files first and grant folder access if prompted. Not every file provider exposes Finder extensions.
Creation, conversion, aliases, and extraction produce new results, with numbering for generated-name collisions. Copy and move stop on conflicts; moves require confirmation. Trash handles one item at a time. Permanent deletion additionally requires the complete filename and cannot be restored from Trash.
Current archive actions target ZIP, not RAR or 7z. Limits are 10,000 entries, 1 GiB per file, and 2 GiB total per archive. Symbolic links, special files, unsafe paths, or other failed safety checks stop processing with an explanation.
No. Cut temporarily stores references while originals remain in place. Choose Paste Move in the destination and confirm to move them. Pending cut references are not retained after quitting.
Preview a candidate name and confirm before renaming. Contents remain unchanged, and name conflicts stop the operation. Encodings and origins differ, so review candidates rather than assuming every filename can be repaired.
The current app has no account, telemetry, cloud sync, or updater; file actions run locally. AirDrop, opening another app, synced folders, or browser use involve services governed by their own rules.
No. The manager removes the app’s corresponding saved grant. Some current access may last until the app quits. Access also depends on the system, file system, and separate grants.
